Gwendoline WARD Obituary

With heavy hearts, the family of Gwendoline Mary Ward (nee Dunn) announce that Gwen passed away peacefully in her sleep, Monday, June 26, 2023. Gwen is survived by her husband Kevin Roy Ward, her daughter Rachel Emma Lean, and her son Alexander James Lean. Gwen was a beloved wife and mother, and we will miss her dearly. A private service honoring Gwen has been held. We would like to thank St. John Ambulance Service, Medical Unit staff at Nelson Hospital, Nelson Tasman Hospice, and Nurse Maude for their help caring for Gwen. Special thanks also to Marchella Persico of Marsden House Funeral Services and Diane Strong for helping us celebrate Gwen. Rest in peace, Gwen. We will treasure you always.

My love and thoughts are with you and Alex Rachael . I was shocked to read of your Mums passing . I have fond memories of the chats and times we spent together , Her beautiful smile and kindness stood out from the rest . A beautiful lady at peace .
