Saddened to hear of Gloria's passing. For us having a very young family and moving in right next door to such a lovely couple as George & Gloria was a blessing. Always interacting with us and our kids and looking out for us too. Our kids loved their birds and the attention that Gloria gave them. RIP

So sorry to hear another from the old neighbourhood has gone. Must be getting to be quite the party up there. But those of us left down here will fondly remember you as part of our childhood memories. Thank you for being part of that. Love to all the family.

I have not looked forward to this moment Gloria "Gub" as I called you all those years ago when we worked the Packhouse and those boysenberries together. What a mission they were...with our huge gloves.. gunboats and heavy jackets and oh yes our beanies.
All this made easier with your humor...marching us off in a regimental order for our tea breaks. Only you could get away with that.
I thank you for all these years of your friendship which I treasure. You are "the best" at friendship and as a mother which is inspirational to us all. You will be missed beyond words.
Rest easy now Gub and please go easy on George and remember that he's been there for a while now so he knows how things are run. It's time for Alison to enjoy her mum and dad she's been waiting a while.

Mum,it is still hard to comprehend that you are no longer with us. Today I was tempted to pick up the phone and ring you for our usual chats about what had been happening in both our lives. You were such a strong determined women, proof being that you managed to stay with us to see Cody visiting from the US and to finally meeting your new great grand son Cooper before you left us. These memories are ones to be treasured by myself Cody and Amy. Miss you mum and special celebrations are never going to be the same with out you in our lives.
PS: Please dont be too hard on dad (George- Mr Parsons Nose) when you see him and Alison.
Love you always
