The Golden Bay Friendship Club sends its deepest condolences and sympathy to Tony and family upon the loss of their beloved Gillian.
She was the 6th President of the GBFC in 2011 and a beautiful person in every respect. We remember her with greatest fondness, and most recently at our 20th Anniversary celebrations last October, at which she gave some reminiscences..
We give our thanks for the many far-reaching contributions she made during her lifetime.

So sad to read this news. Gillian belonged to the group of Christchurch Girls High Old Girls in Nelson and attended as many meetings as she could. Living in Takaka wasn't always easy but once she moved to Nelson we saw her at our get togethers. Our thoughts are with Tony and the family as they navigate life without Gillian. Jan Wood.

So very sad to read this - I have very fond memories of Gill, as my first "boss" at Cashman Hooker and Bensemann all those years ago and as a lovely lady who taught me lots. Sincere condolences to Tony and all the family. I am so sorry for your loss x
