We are so sorry to learn of Gianninas passing. We enjoyed our years in Nelson which involved many Vintage Car Club trips with Cliff and Giannina. She was a beautiful person, a dear friend who we will always remember. Please accept our deepest sympathy at this very sad time.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Giannina. She was a very close friend of my late mother, and I know they shared many memories growing up together on Upper Nile Street. Giannina was such a kind and gentle lady-her warmth and presence will be deeply missed.

I have lovely memories of Giannina spending time with Mum. She had such a strong faith that helped Mum in times of need. She was such a kind gentle lady with a wonderful smile and would always have time to chat. Much love to all the family I am thinking of you at this sad time x

We have fond memories from way back when the Jacobsens were neighbours through to her visiting mum in the rest home and seeing her at St Mary´s. Lots of love from all the Ellis family

I am so grateful to have met my lovely cousin, Giannina, back in December 1980 while visiting and working in Nelson. Giannina and her husband, Cliff, helped me purchase my NZ car, a Morris Oxford. We kept in touch over all these years via 'snail mail'. Most recently, in December 2023, I was again fortunate to have been able to visit Giannina, her family, and all my Nelson cousins.
