George WASTNEY Obituary
NZD3456 (Navy). On January 30, 2019, in Blenheim, aged 96 years. Beloved husband of Molly for 74 years and father and father-in-law of Peter and Sue (Nelson), Jeffrey and Judy (Waikanae), Raewyn and Russell (Ruby Bay), Meryl and Peter (Blenheim) and 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Messages to Villa 8, 131 Cleghorn Street, Blenheim 7201. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Redwood Lifestyle Village for the love and care of George. In lieu of flowers a donation to Life Flight Trust, c/- PO Box 14-449, Wellington 6241, would be appreciated or may be made at the service. A Funeral Service for George will be held at the Wesley Centre, Henry Street, on Wednesday, February 6, at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation at the Cloudy Bay Crematorium.
