To Gloria and family, i am sorry to hear of Georges passing.First met you and George at your place in Richmond with Mary Joyce in 1986, then when i moved to Nelson George did some plumbing for use in Nelson. I have a DVD from video tape of George on the coach eating his tea and feeding some to Jodie the dog 1986, if you and your family would like a copy contact me Denis Mellett

So sad to hear of George's passing - love to you Gloria and all the family - the both of you were great friends of our Mum and know she will start a darts team up again when they catch up.

Gloria and family, so sorry to hear of George's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Hope he's going to fix the plumbing and relax with a few games of darts. So many happy memories and laughs from the Star and Garter darts days. Will always remember.

We seldom met and I called him 'Uncle George' even though he was only 2 yrs older, but somehow we often heard about the fun he had in his life. My thoughts are with you all. Love from his niece Ruth, Thelma's eldest daughter.

Though we did not know George personally, we knew him through his family. He was very much loved and will be terribly missed by them. Our thoughts go out to them at this very sad time.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Much loved dad, father-in-law, special grandad of Kylie, Mark, Amber (Spud), Liam and the late Alison. Thank you to the Nelson Tasman Hospice for their compassionate care of George and our family. Fly high with the angels and watch over us.
