Dear Pauline, Andrew and Virginia

It is with sadness that I read of Geoff's passing.

I remember with fondness the mentoring and guidance
Geoff provided me during my Price Waterhouse Wellington days (1983-1991).

I hold many happy memories working with and for Geoff but two are special; firstly when he and I were in Nelson for a Nelson Pine Industries assignment and he took me with him to visit a friend who owned an apple orchard and we coming away with bags of freshly picked apples (apples have never tasted the same for me ever since)! Secondly, the very kind gesture of taking me to the Intercontinental Hotel for my farewell lunch; I was heading to the bistro when Geoff said "No, Audrey, we're heading upstairs for some fine dining"! It was a very pleasant lunch and turned out to be a long one which meant he had to hurry to his next appointment - not helped that he was wearing new shoes that day and thus ended up with blisters (which he later mentioned to me!).

In later years it was like old times when we bumped into each other - either at Moore Wilson (where we came away with his olive oil!) or the Crofton Downs car park.

Vic and I send our heartfelt condolences and love to you at this sad time.

Kind regards, Audrey
