So sorry to hear of Gary's passing. He showed me how to kill and skin my first sheep. So generous with his time and knowledge. Our thoughts are with Liz.

We have been privileged to be allowed to continue on Howard Head when Gary and Liz stepped aside. The package included land, stock, plant and Gary. The bonus was finding a mate.

Gary will be sorely missed from the Nelson Lakes Dog Trial Club. He served for 21 years on the committee and on trial days released sheep on the hill for a whole day with his friend every year. He attended every working bee and clean up days. We will miss his friendship, quiet ways, his dependability and nothing was ever a problem to him. Your generosity was overwhelming. It was a privilege to know you

Memories of going around the farm with Gary looking at stock, paddocks and scenery during an early winter morning at Howard Head Station with Gary. This was great head clearing, for us both, following a most happy evening of great wine and sumpetuous food at Elizabeth and Gary's home with the Nelson Lakes Wine Group. Many a happy time together.
Gary will be sadly missed by us all.
Deep condolences to Liz.

Very sad to hear you have gone Gary. You were a great table tennis opponent and friend for many years. Table Tennis Nelson also offers their condolences. A suitable write up on their site has been posted.

I will personally miss the banter we had. I will also know his dogs will really miss him as well.

My thoughts go out to you Elizabeth and other family members.
