Elsie May CONNOLLY

Elsie CONNOLLY Obituary

QSM

Passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Te Rau Kawakawa Acute Stabilisation Unit on April 8, 2026. Loved and loving wife of the late Alec. Dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Anne and Paul Townend, Joan and Alvin Constable, Margaret Cross, Peter and Ange, and Jenny and Brian Hardaker. Cherished and adored by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elsie's family are deeply grateful to the Westport community for the love and support shown to their mum over the years. Elsie gave a great deal to her community and received just as much love in return. We would like to sincerely thank the staff at Te Rau Kawakawa ASU, along with the doctors, nurses, and all ancillary staff. The love, care, and respect shown to our mum, especially in her final days, has been exceptional. In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Elsie's lifelong commitment to her community, donations to Buller ASU would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be made at the service which will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 44 Queen Street, Club Buller, Westport, at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

A livestream and tribute page for Elsie will be available at www.hagedorns.co.nz/funeral-notices-tributes.
