Elizabeth CONNELL Obituary

Passed away peacefully in Nelson on May 28, 2025, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Frank Connell. Beloved mother of Sarah-Jane, Ann and Simon, Clare, Felicity and Brent, and Julia. Grandmother to Thomas. Cherished sister to Bob and Barbara, and Auntie Whizz to Deborah, Robert, and Simon, and great-aunt to Rupert, Eva, and Isabella. In accordance with her wishes, a private cremation was held. Messages to The Connell Family, c/- Shone and Shirley, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson 7011.

What an amazing lady.
I visited her at her villa and then her unit at Greengables hosipital unit. She loved to receive her Holy Communion. She was always such a proper and learnered person to know and enjoy her company even for a short periods of time. A very cherished time of pray with God. Her greatest friend Teddie was always there on watch at the villa.
RIP Elizabeth, a gift to know you.
