Passed away peacefully, aged 83, in Nelson. Dearly loved husband of the late Jenny. Loved father and father-in-law of David and Helen, Sue, Graeme and Savita. Much loved grandad of Andrew and Alice, Jennifer and Rawiri, Sam and Ben, Damien, Priya and Tim, Divesh and Karishma. Loved great-grandfather of Eli, Lachie and Zachary. A service for Doug will be held at Marsden House Funeral Home, 41 Nile Street, Nelson, on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11.00am. Interment to follow at Hira Cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions, Marsden House is limited to 100 people and the service will be livestreamed. Please register your interest to attend in person or online at
