Passed away peacefully on 30 September 2024, aged 93 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband of the late Nancy. Much loved dad and father-in-law of Diane and Neville, Pam and Rick, and Craig. Treasured grandad to Cory, Haley, Emma, Katie, Jayden, Bradley, Matthew and their families. A private remembrance service for Doug will be held at a future date. Messages can be sent to Doug's family c/- 4 Crown Terrace, Nelson 7010.

So sorry to read of Doug's passing, a great age, caught up with him friday mornings at Phyllis Briggs house for morning tea, a while ago now, condolences to the family.

Sorry for your loss, but I know Doug will be happy! He was a character visiting him when I worked at Access! Would be shocked when I asked at 6.30pm if he had had his tea... bloody hell girl, tea time was hours ago! Haha He certainly didn't enjoy old age . Thoughts are with you all.
