May 7, 1950 - September 27, 2025
Our precious Doreen gained her angel wings at Nelson Tasman Hospice on Saturday evening. A peaceful end to a short cancer battle, with her loved ones by her side. Daughter of the late Lew and Elsie Quinney and sister to Rodger, cherished wife of Morice for 50 years, adored mother and mother-in-law to Lea and Kevin, Jenny and Tim. Dearly missed nana to Lorcan and Finlay. Sister-in-law, aunty, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. We are so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to Dors by the Hospice staff in her final days, this has left a profound impact on our family. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations are made to Hospice to continue their amazing work. A celebration of Doreen's life will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 27 Dorset Street, Richmond on Thursday, October 2, at 1.00pm.

We always spent our Christmas days with Doreen, Roger and their parents at Tahuna Beach. What a delightful person she was. I will miss her and those memories. Joyce Marcon nee Anderson.
