Donald SHIRLEY Obituary
28.10.1935 - 15.7.2022
Passed away peacefully at The Wood Retirement Home with his beloved family by his side. Much loved husband of Lorraine for 64 years, father and father-in-law to Wendy and Eric, Kevin and Tina, Carol and Shep, adored grandad to David, Janelle, Brenton, Jake and Emma, and great-grandfather to Ella and Indy. A much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. A memorial service to celebrate Don's life will be held at Stoke Methodist Church, on Saturday, July 23 at 2.00pm. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at The Wood Retirement Home for their care of Dad for the past two years.
A life well lived,

Many happy memories spent with uncle Don doing family catch ups, Christmas days, holidays and visits in Nelson and in Wellington it was great to be able to visit him last year at Woods retirement, thinking of aunty Lorraine, Wendy, Carol, Kevin and extended family at this time, Colleen enjoyed her many years with Don as her brother - in law lots of love never forgotten, Sandra and Chris, jillian and grant, warrick and dee, Diane, Colleen and childrenxxx
