Don, we have loved your cheeky laugh and amazing story's. You impressed us with homemade jams and we always enjoyed receiving a lovely big bag of fresh persimmon when there was plenty ready to share... your heart so giving and kind! We promise to look after your darling daughter Fiona! X

We have loved knowing Don - He would often drop around for a cup of tea, bringing gifts of homemade jam and marmalade. Two years ago, he kindly gave me some asparagus corms which produced last year. He was looking forward to seeing how many spears would appear this year. When we enjoy eating this asparagus we will remember this very kind, generous man. My grandson and I completed putting edging around his garden and we were so pleased he was able to view it all completed before he passed away. I know he had a strong faith - Rest in Peace, Don.

I only knew Don for a short time from when I joined the Richmond Lions Club around a year ago and found him to be a real Gentleman. He will sadly missed by the club
