1936 - 2021
Donald's active mind is now stilled as he has slipped away at Nelson Hospital on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, after 61 years with his loved wife Daphne. Much loved father of Maree and Roger, a second father to Debbie and Karl and Grandad to Lauren, Jason, Nick, Jackson, Sarah and Frank. Treasured brother of Koe and Alister. Donald's creative mechanical solutions and "Mr Fix-It" skills will long be remembered and missed by many. Now he is inventing with the best.
Rest in Peace Donald,
we miss you.
As per Donald's wishes, a private family funeral has been held in Donald's workshop where all his creations, restorations and repairs were born. A special thank you to Donald's wonderful caregivers, he was extremely grateful and each visit brightened his day. Messages to 246 Ranzau Road, Hope 7020. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nelson Hospice would be greatly appreciated.

So sorry to hear that Donald has passed on to the workshop in the sky. Im sure he will be trying to mend or fix what eva is broke up there. He will be able to catch up with his great mate Colin and together they can fix the world.
We called into see Donald two sundays ago but he was in hospital . Sorry to have missed him.
