Desmond KING-TURNER Obituary

Died peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, after a long illness. Loved husband of Julie. Much loved father and father-in-law of Darren, Missy, and the late Angi, Lisa and Ernie, Kymberly and Nick. Proud pop of Tyla, Liam, Claudia, Charlotte, Caroline, Vianne, Jules, and Élodie. Our heartfelt thanks for the loving care by the staff at Green Gables Nelson. The friends of Des are invited to his memorial service to be held at Tides Hotel, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 2.00pm.

I was sad to read that Des had died. It was an honour to be your "medic" . I remember Des´ stories and sense of humour. His "stroke" syndrome was no fun but he battled on. He is now released. Thinking of you all. Rob Riley.
