Denise Elizabeth:
Peacefully at home, but well before her time, in taki. Wife of John. Most amazing and loving mother and mother-in-law to David and Jen (Wellington), and mother to the late Freya (Dunedin). Beloved nana of Madeleine and soon to be second grandchild (Denise has been told the name and is sworn to secrecy). Big sister to Ian (Dunedin), Lindsay and Glenda (Nelson). Daughter of Allan and the late Kathleen Barber (Nelson). A private family service was held today in taki.

Very sad news,Denise will be remembered fondly as a flatmate when we were student nurses in Nelson. My thoughts are with her family.
