Peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Te Omanga Hospice, Lower Hutt. Debbie, a dearly loved partner of Russell Thomas. A much loved mother of Peter and Jessie Manning with former partner Ross Manning. A much loved daughter of Gavin and Veronica Mickell (Village at the Park Retirement Village). A loving sibling of Kathryn Hazlewood and Gareth Mickell (dec) Loved and remembered fondly by nephews Ben and Sam Hazlewood and brother-in-law Nick Hazlewood. Our warmest thanks to Te Omanga Hospice and staff for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation online to the hospice or it may be left at the celebration ceremony. Our farewell celebration of Debbie's life will be held at Cornwall Manor, cnr Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Friday, December 3, at 2.30pm. The ceremony will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend on the following link:

We are saddened to hear of Debbie's passing. I have fond memories of Deb especially our week where Deb was manager and i was parent help during our boys hockey tournament in the Hawkes Bay. Much love to Pete, Jessie and Ross. Arohanui

Such a shock to hear if Debbie's death. We played a lot of inter club tennis with her some years ago. She was a great playing partner doing all of the hard work at net. Love to all of the family from Tony Green and Mieke Wensvoort.
