Sympathy to Noot's family. I worked with Noot at Newmans Coachlines at Taranaki St in Wgtn in the 80's when he was freight manager. Always good fun and shared a lot of laughs with him. Jon Wakefield

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dave. Noot was a wonderful person and a great ambassador for NZ Coach Tourism during what I call " the golden era of NZ Coach Touring. I remember fondly the many "drivers meetings" we had in Queenstown, Te Anau and Fox Glacier during those days. Noot cared for his passengers in his own jovial Father Christmas fashion , a big guy with a big heart and smile. Farewell Noot, travel home my old friend. To Alison, My thoughts are with you at this time of great loss. My heart is with you. Noot is at peace now and in no pain, probably catching up with all his old mates who passed before him, Kevin being one of them.
