Daphne VERWEY Obituary

Aged 90 years. Passed away peacefully on Christmas Day. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter. Loved mother of Karen and Michelle and mother-in-law to Robin and John. Treasured Nana of Savana, Daniel, Chris and Michael. Great-Nana to Hendrix and Mia Daphne. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at the Ernest Rutherford Rest Home and Hospital, for their special care of Mum. A private family farewell will take place at a later date.

Sad to read of your mums passing. I have lots of memories of growing up with your family. Trips away in your parents vw car. Climbing the tamaki steps and on up the hill to your house. Going to the book shop. Treasure your memories . Best wishes to you all. Love Tammy Simpson (nee fryer)
