It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Chris/Chrissy, aged 74 years, on October 29, 2025; surrounded by her loving family. Chris will be remembered for her laughter, kindness, and the way she lived unapologetically. Dearly loved partner of Bill McKenzie and all of Bill's family. Loved mum of Aaron (Sky), and Felecia, loved Nana Christine of Sherona, Sheyn, and Christine, loved great-nana of Aria, Andii, and Abel. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Tom and Wynita and Phyllis (dec), Tony and Bev, Barry and Lesley, Max and Carmel, Donna and Wayne, loved aunty of Sharlene, Clayton, Mark, Belinda, Joe, Stephen, Matt, Jeremy, and Alysia, and ex-wife of Kevin Tait. Loved and valued team member of Tasman Blue Beats Leisure Marching Team (her second family). As per Chris's wishes, there will be no service, she wanted you to gather in your own families, groups, and remember her in your own special way.
