I met Catriona and Bruce in 2019 after reaching out to her as part of researching the Briasco family. We had some wonderful email and message exchanges over several months and eventually met up at a cafe in Pokeno. She was cautious at first, understandably, and I hadn't quite realised how unwell she was. We were only just getting started really in our conversations ... but I guess that's how it goes as generations overlap. Catriona, I miss you!

It was great being tracked down by Triona and co from the Drummond clan a few years ago and then coming back to New Zealand last year to meet them. That’s when I got to know Triona a little and spend some quality time with her. We shared so much in a short time and I’m so grateful for that. Such a brave, clever and kind cousin I’m blessed to have known. R.I.P

We are so sad to hear of the loss of Triona. We send you lots of love and hugs. We both worked with Triona at NMIT for a number of years.
