Carol MAYER Obituary
MAYER, Carol Patricia:23.02.63 - 23.04.15Where do I start, how do I begin a farewell when I still can't believe you are gone. How do I say goodbye to part of my soul.
You came into my life and changed me forever. You were my inspiration. My beloved daughter.
"There is a difference between giving up
and knowing when you have had enough."
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who showed us sympathy on our recent sad loss of our dearest Carol. Our grateful thanks to all our extended families, relations, neighbours and dear friends. Thank you for your expressions of love and kindness. The floral tributes were beautiful and appreciated as they helped lighten our hearts. Carol loved gardening and flowers were favourite.
We were humbled by the many whanau whanui who travelled so far to pay their respect and comfort us. You came from Nga Hau E Wha (the four winds), Brisbane and Perth.
We were deeply touched to see so many of Carol's friends and colleagues at her service. To celebrate our beloved daughter Carol's life with you all will be remembered and treasured always.
"Thank you for your friendship true
For being there, for being you
For your heart's so good and kind
Truer friends, Carol could ever find"
