Carl McCRAE Obituary

Peacefully at Stillwater Gardens Lifecare, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, surrounded by family. Aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Pamela. Much loved father and father-in-law of Shane and Annette, Dean and Debbie, and Aaron and Karyn. Adored Poppa of Ethan, Dylan, Aliesha, Logan, Jordan, Rilee, Matthew, and Emma. Carl's family would like to thank all the staff at Stillwater Gardens Lifecare for their care and support. A service to celebrate Carl's life will be held at Shone & Shirley Funeral Home, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson, on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10.00am, to be followed by his interment at Richmond Cemetery. I have so many wonderful memories of Mac and Pam .
Boat raft ups in the Sounds, holidays in Coolangatta , trips exploring the Northern Territories in Australia. Many many meals together and lots and lots of famous "Mac" stories and so many laughs.
They are together again.
My sincere condolences to the boys and all the family. I am sorry I can´t attend on Monday but will definitely be watching
Feel so lucky to have spent time with Mac on the Friday morning just before he passed.

So sorry to hear this news, thinking of you all xx Carl was the best boss Ive ever had, i remember the message "mac attack" going around the supermarket when Carl was doing his walk around the shop, Both Carl and Pam made Dollarwise feel like family xx
