Bruce RICHMOND Obituary
Bruce Gordon:
Passed away peacefully at home with his family and faithful friend Bassy, after short illness. Aged 67 years. Dearly loved partner of Joan. Much loved father and father-in-law of Belinda and Shane, Kirsty, Philip and Kate. Loved grandad Bruce of Jamie, Hamish and Maddy, Ari and Rosie, Bondi, Ridge and Ranger. Sadly missed by Angela, David, Luke and Elise Jacobsen, Megan, Rocky and Chloe Smith. The 'Mayor' of Pohara will be sadly missed by many. Special thanks to the Golden Bay District Nurses and caregiver Jan for the wonderful services and support provided at home. Messages to the family, 93 Richmond Road, Pohara, Takaka 7183. In lieu of flowers donations in Bruce's memory to the Nelson Region Hospice Trust, PO Box 283, Nelson, for use in the Golden Bay Community would be appreciated.

Dear Joan, and all family members,
Bill and I were saddened by your email this morning informing us of Bruce's passing. We knew when we left to come back to Canada for the summer that our return to NZ would most likely be to one less friend.
The memories we have of the few short years we knew Bruce will always be treasured.
We regret that we cannot be there with you to celebrate Bruce's life.
