Bruce BELL Obituary

BELL, Bruce:
Surrounded by his family, Bruce gracelessly and unselfishly as usual slipped quietly away on Tuesday, in his 94th year. Dearly Loved husband and loyal best friend of Margaret for 69 years. Adored and respected father and father-in-law of Peter and Glynnis Bell, Sandy and Bruce Warren, and Paul and Pru Bell. Much loved Grandad to Jackson, Holly and Andrew, Candice and Nick, Brittany and Emrys, Christian, Nick and Sophie, Bridgette and Jack, Ellie and Liam. Great-grandad to Olivia, Matilda, Tate, Tor and Margot.
His job is done. He fought a great battle and he is now released. He blessed us with his gentle guidance and his dignified and forever cheerful demeanour right til the end. Will be greatly missed
by us all.
Special thanks to the amazing staff and caregivers at Summerset, nurses and Dr's at ED and Ward 5 Nelson Hospital, and the paramedics at St John's. We can't name you all but our family was so appreciative of your compassion and professionalism. A funeral service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held at the Hope Gardens of Remembrance Chapel, 95 Clover Road East, Hope, on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 11.00am.

Dear Margret , Paul and family, Sorry to hear the sad news of Bruce's passing. Unfortunately we were not able to attend the Service as we only heard the sad news today, we are sure it would have been a fitting tribute to Bruce and his many achievements. Our very best wishes.

To Paul and family,

thinking of you at this time, although I didn't know your loved Dad very well personally I know that he must have been a special man, and was deeply loved and respected. I believe he had a very good life and his legacy lives on in you all, his children and superb grandchildren, he was so very proud of you all I am sure.
Fondest regards
Leigh and Paul Dalzell
