Brenda KIDSON Obituary

6.3.1942 – 6.12.2025

Brenda passed peacefully on Saturday at Green Gables, Nelson, her family at her side. Brenda was the daughter of Phyllis and Bill Esson of Picton, and sister to Diane Grant (dec, Whangamata) and John Esson (Australia).The much loved wife of Brian for 46 years and the cherished mother and mother-in-law of Matthew and Nic, Katrina, Sally and Clinton (Jones) and Liz and Tom (Gavin). Loved Brenda and "Brendini" to her grandchildren Nina, Sophia, Evie Kidson and Gabby and Alex Gavin. Loved Aunty Brenda to her nieces and nephews. A public memorial service will be held at the Boat House Nelson, on Monday, December 15, at 2.00pm. We love you Brenda and promise to "Keep Going!" Thank you for the love and care given to Brenda and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fifeshire Foundation or a charity of choice.
