I first met Bob when I joined the North Shore Jaycees in 1972. Bob was the Executive Director, Pacific Region, that year. He then ran for National Vice President and was successful.
In the early 80's I joined the National Video franchise and with Bob as the regional rep for National Video we operated our video store from 1983 to the end of 1990 when we sold it and moved to Pemberton. Bob and I became very close friends during that time and besides being a smart and hardworking man, he was always a good friend and never forgot who his friends were.
We still had a few more years to go but unfortunately it didn't work out that way and Bob will be missed.

To Bob's family: We knew Bob through the Jaycee Organization. Having transferred our membership from East York in the metropolitan Toronto area to North Vancouver in 1971 we met Bob that year in the North Shore Jaycees. He was a dedicated member, who rose through the ranks to become an International Senator. Bob's charismatic personality allowed him to be of great service to many people in his life circles. It was a pleasure knowing him and working with him to benefit our community and our organization and the people it served. We will remeber him.

Dear Nadine and family: we were so saddened on hearing about Bob's passing, he was such a nice man and after hearing all of the wonderful tributes to "Grampa Bob" at his memorial, we know what a huge imprint he made on so many peoples lives that shared his friendship.

Bob was truly one of a kind. He loved you,Nadine, and all his children and grandchildren with all of his heart. He always had a smile on his face, especially when he had finished golfing either at Beach Grove or in Scottsdale, and he would come from golf to pick up Nadine and go for dinner. It was a pleasure to have known him and been part of his life. May he Rest In Peace.
