Passed peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, with family by her side; in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of Tony Fry. Loved sister of Colin, Kevin and Lynn. Beloved mother of Steve, Stephen, Trevor, Joss, Nick, David and Andy. Dearest mother-in-law to Leanne, Shelley, Des and Steph. Cherished grandmother to Jacqueline, Rebecca, Matthew, Jessica, Abby, Aidan, Edward, Joseph, Jac and Harry and much loved great-grandmother to Peyton, Harry, Zara, Cyprus, James and Hazel. Betty will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, sense of humour and her no nonsense approach to life.

A private family cremation will be held on Thursday, March 12. A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held on Friday, March 13, at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 64 High Street, Motueka, at 1.00pm. Please join us to celebrate Betty. The family wishes to extend our thanks and gratitude to Woodlands Care Centre, Jack Inglis Friendship Hospital and Tasman Rest Home, for their wonderful love and care of Betty.
