16.2.1926 - 19.4.2016
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 19, 2016, aged 90. Dearly loved husband of the late Audrey Jean, loved father and father-in-law of Michael (deceased) and Wendy, Carolyn and John, Flavia and Jim, Rosemary, Bernadette, Bedelia and Stephen, Sonja and Tony, and our special Rotary sister Trish Turton, much loved grandad of Amanda Cresswell, Flavia King-Turner, Warrick, and Andrew Allwood, Dylan, Hayden, Amy-Rose, and Julian Goulding, Mitchell, and Jessica-Rose King, Luke King, Benjamin Vercauteren, Oliver Shepherd, Hayley, and Josh Adams, loved great-grandad to Tyler, and Jackson Cresswell, Alexandra, and Anastasia Allwood, and baby Ari King.
Messages to PO Box 1211, Nelson 7040. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Catholic Church, Manuka Street, Nelson on Friday April 29, 2016 at 11am.
A Rosary for Bede will be held in St Mary's Catholic Church Tomorrow (Thursday) April 28, 2016 at 7pm.

Dear Carrie, Flavia, Rose, Bernnie, Bedelia & Sonja,
I imagine the passing of your dad is so very hard to take, especially, so soon following your Mum's death.
His memory will forever be a source of comfort to you all especially in the coming weeks/months. He was a man of honour and integrity and his family was his life and greatest joy.
I was heartbroken to learn Bede had passed on but I'm comforted knowing his thoughts, hopes, and dreams will live on forever in all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Your Dad will be remembered ALWAYS by those of us who loved him. He was certainly VERY special to me.
You, Carrie, Flav, Bernie, Rose, Delia & Sonja will be always a part of my family.
