Died peacefully in Nelson, surrounded by family, on May 19, 2024, aged 91. Wife of the late Rusty. Mother and mother-in-law of Lee and Gary, Gay and Rocky, Bruce, Jan and Steve. Nana of Craig, Kylee, Brent, Scott, Smith, Lawson, AJ, Tayla, Leah, Meg, and partners. Great-Nana to 8. A private farewell has been held.

My thoughts are with you all at this time.
Avis was a delightful lady and both her and Rusty were so well respected.You were a very supportive family to both and I have had the pleasure of being part of their lives in their latter years.

I have very fond memories of Avis while growing up, especially the Sweetbreads she cooked us and whenever we ran into each other. RIP
