Ann-Marie GILL Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 6, 2025, aged 54 years. Dearly loved wife of Shane for 30 years. Loved mother of Sean and Haley. Loved daughter of Ross and the late Margaret. Loved sister to Chris and Steven. A friend to many. Funeral service for Ann-Marie will be held at Marsden House Funeral Home, 41 Nile St, Nelson, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, commencing at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nelson Tasman Hospice would be appreciated.

I have so many happy memories of AnnMarie, right from when I babysat her as a small child in Bainham, up until a couple of weeks ago when I had a brief chat with her about my visit to Bainham. All the years in between, we have kept in touch as we both faced health challenges. Annmarie was always very supportive and looked on the 'bright side' even when it wasn't that bright. You will always be remembered as that tenacious lady who wasn't going to give up without a fight, which was always done with courage and dignity. Sending much love to the Gill and Allan families.
