Alvin JOHNSTON Obituary

Passed away peacefully in Nelson on December 21, 2025, aged 74 years. Loved son of the late Philip and Rosena Johnston. Beloved Father of Gavin and Kennie, Cathy and Craig. Loved Granddad of Dylan and Vanessa, Savannah and Tim, Stevie and Nathan, Zac and Jayden. Great-Grandfather of Hunter, Dante, Saria, Brody, Charlotte, and Avery. Loved brother of the late Rosalie, Rob, Marie, and Darrell. A graveside service to celebrate AJ's life will be held at the Moutere Hills Cemetery, 24 Gardner Valley Road, Upper Moutere, on Wednesday, December 24, at 2.00pm.

Alvin, a kind tramping friend of long ago, he enabled me on my first winter tramp to the Angelus Hut and rewarded the group with some special food.
