Alan BRODIE Obituary

After years of battling a powerful darkness, Alan is finally at peace. He was the loved son of the late Barbara and Ian. A cherished and sadly missed brother of Hannah, and Nicole. A doting and proud Uncle of April and Lilah. He will be greatly missed by his many friends. While words cannot capture the depth of this loss, we hope that remembering his life will also open space for compassion, understanding and support for those who struggle. A private cremation has taken place with a celebration of his life to follow in time.

The last time I saw Alan, I served him a handle of beer. He gave me crap because there was so much head on it, not enough beer. He sat down and so I took a shot glass, filled it with beer and delivered it to him on a massive tray all fancy like. I think he thought it was pretty funny.

All in all, I knew Alan to be such a fiercely loyal human being. It was an honor to have met him. I send my love to his family.
