Aileen Doris (nee Owen):
Passed away peacefully at Grey Base Hospital with family by her side on June 4, 2018, aged 84. Dearly loved wife of the late Kelly and the late Ken Brown, deeply loved mum and mother-in-law of Cheryl and Stuart Thomson (Greymouth), Diane and Ian Boote (Nelson), Tom and Nardia and the late Jackie Brown (Yeppoon), and Larry and Tarn and the late Susan Brown (Whakatane), loved step-mother of Bruce Hendrie and John Hendrie, cherished nana of Joel and Sarah, Genna and Lara, Shane and Jacinda, Adam and Kate, Nick and Tania, Natasha, and Dylan, a loved great-nana of Kye, Duncan, and Teagan, a loved sister and sister-in-law of Alma and Stewart Smith, Doreen and Jimmy Cowie, Don and Annette Owen, and Shirley and Gerry Ireland, (all deceased), loved sister-in-law of Lynne Brown and a loved aunty, cousin and a friend of many. A Funeral Service to celebrate Aileen's life will be held in the William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui Street, Greymouth, on Thursday, at 2.00pm. Aileen's ashes will then be laid to rest with Kelly at the Karoro Lawn Cemetery.
