I have many very fond memories of Mrs Kidson, or Brown Owl as she was known to the Vanguard Street, All Saints Church brownie troop. She was very influential in the lives of many young women as we promised to help others and do a good turn every day. I saw her in more recent times and we shared some memories of camps at Tapawera and carrying out house orderly badge tasks at her then home in Mt Pleasant Ave.
A lovely lady who I know will be missed.
My sympathy to the family.
