A great man and like a second Dad to me for many years. I looked up to him and am a better person for his guidance and advice. The times sharing a drink on the deck at 38 Devon street will stay with me always. A great cricket coach who gave up his time and energy to help us youngsters. Thanks for the good times and very fond memories. Much loved. Taken too early.

Ross was one of my best mates and was going to be part of my retirement plan to leisurely tramp many of NZs best places. He was a great mate.
