Dear Rhoda, the last of her generation in our family. So kind to us all, and always interested in the young ones. She was a sweetheart, most fondly remembered.

Sad to hear this news. I was only speaking to " Sister Richards" Rhoda on Sunday with my daughter & grandaughter at the Race Unity Day event. She was not only a "mother" figure at Franklyn Street Nurses Home to nurses but to other polytechnic students like myself who stayed there back in the early 1980. My fellow student friends from Fiji who stayed there and I would often hang around the desk and chat with "Sister Richards" and the other ladies. I occasionally ran into Rhoda and she always remembered me and my friends and asked if we were still in contact and how things were going with me,still interested and caring some 35 plus years later. Good memories of this lady. RIP
